Returns process and conditions

You can purchase from jam2day with complete confidence and peace of mind. As standard we provide a 7 day money back guarantee.  This is in addition to our product warranties, which provide protection against product fault or defect for between one and five years.  Our money back guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.

If you want to send something back under our money back guarantee scheme, please check the product is: 

1. Being returned within 7 days of you receiving it.

2. In 'as new' condition showing no signs of use or wear

3. Complete and includes all original packaging

4. Packaged in the same way it was received including outer protective packaging

If your return meets the above criteria, then please call us on 01386 834641 or email to info@jam2day.co.uk to make arrangements for return.  Returns received without prior notice cannot be accepted.

Please note: Items bought in our showroom are excluded from the money back guarantee 

When we receive the item, we will check that it meets the criteria above.

Please keep hold of all the original packaging until you are sure you want to keep the goods, as an additional charge will be made if you wish to return items without the original packaging after seven days from delivery. 

If you do not have all of the original packaging but wish to return goods within the money back guarantee period, all items must be placed in a sturdy cardboard box with appropriate packaging material to protect and stop the item moving around in order to prevent the item getting scratched or damaged. jam2day cannot accept responsibility for any item that is damaged due to insufficient packaging, and your return and refund may be refused if the item is not packaged correctly. 

Goods damaged in transit

In the unlikely event that your goods are damaged during transit, please inform us as soon as possible and at the latest within 24 hours of receipt. We will quickly replace the item or offer you a refund. Of course we will also collect the damaged product from you free of charge.

Tip: When signing for a delivery, we suggest adding the letters 'n/c' (meaning not checked) next to your signature.  This informs the delivery company that the contents have not been checked for damage.

Please note that due to the contract that parcel delivery companies work to, no claims for goods damaged in transit can be accepted by us later than 1 business day after receipt.

Excluded items

A few items are excluded from our 7 day money back guarantee. These include: 

  • Preowned items
  • Computer software that has been unsealed or registered
  • Purchases built to a customer’s personal specification
  • Products purchased in store
  • Items that come directly into contact with the nose, ears or mouth

Any item that comes directly into contact with the nose, ears or mouth will be subject to a sanitisation fee of between £5 and £20. This applies to any product returned after eight days under any of our money back guarantee schemes. 

What we do when goods are returned

When we receive returned goods they will be inspected within five working days to ensure you have taken reasonable care of them during your possession, and everything that we originally sent to you has been returned. 

Please note that re-stocking charges may be applied if goods are not received in new condition and with appropriate packaging.

If you have requested a refund, this will be processed with 10 working days of receiving your goods. 

If you have requested a replacement or alternative item, this will be dispatched as soon as possible.
